In this class we work on the principles and strategies for controlling and attacking from the knee on the belly in brazilian jiu jitsu.
Goals of the position:
- Control (scores 2 points in sport)
- Transition to mount.
- Generating submissions openings.
Concepts:
- Details for a correct position (grips: one control the opponent hip (hole in the pant) and the other controls a sleeve or the lapel
- Keeping the position Drills: Accompany the opponent if he moves.
Main submissions:
- Choke (cross and bravo),
- Arm bars (near and far arm).
